Shipping Crates

Enter a crate size and weight, then see the skids, floorboards, and plywood it needs.

Inputs: product L × W × H (inches), weight (lb), side/end/top clearances. Outputs: skid count + size + max spacing (ASTM 5-3 / 5-4), floorboard lumber selection, external dimensions, plywood-sheet estimate.

Math is the 3×4 / 4×4 / 4×6 cascade by weight class with proper spacing limits. 3D viz, STEP export, and NX expression export from the legacy AutoCrate version are out of scope here — see the archived AutoCrate repo on GitHub if you need them.
